AviPro Aircraft - The quintessential starting place for all potential Bearhawk builders. They sell Bearhawk kits along with individual parts if you get tired of scratch building and want to buy a couple pieces. Their website also has a ton of Bearhawk related information on it. Bob Barrows - You have to order plans from "The Bob" in order to get your dream underway. Bob is the designer of the Bearhawk and keeps us all in line. Bob is allergic to electricity and all things computer related, so this link will take you to a site that his daughter Maria runs that will give you directions to order plans. Airbum - This is Budd Davisson's website where you will find many excellent articles and a couple of Bearhawk pireps. Bearhawk Store - Hats and clothing for the Bearhawk fan. Bearhawk CD - Russ Erb produces this monstrosity that contains more Bearhawk information you can find in any one place. Bearhawk Builders Manual - Eric Newton is hard at work getting all the scratch building details into a series of manuals. Bearhawk online plans viewer - you must have purchased a set of plans to use this tool. Bearhawk FAQ - Here is the unofficial Bearhawk Frequently asked questions. Bearhawk Yahoo group - This email list covers the Bearhawk and everything else you ever wanted to learn about life. You can get any Bearhawk question you ever had, answered on this list. If you don't like the questions of life answered, then you better not subscribe. Well, at least we keep it civil and if you don't like the off topic posts, you can filter them out by skipping the posts that contain OT. Bearhawk quickbuild Yahoo group - This email list covers all topics about the Bearhawk quickbuild kits. Off topic conversations are not allowed. They stick to the business at hand. Yeller pages - Look here for a list of suppliers that cover the gamut goodies for sheet metal airplanes. Beartracks Newsletter - Your source of current information and engineering changes for the Bearhawk. A must have for Bearhawk builders. Scott- Iron Design - Scott is building the "Bob Wheel" tailwheels for all of us who don't want to take the time to build our own or don't like the looks or prices of the other choices out there. This tailwheel was designed by Bob Barrows, is built to his specs and will far exceed anything you can find on the market. And, the price will come in way under the competition. See Scott's website for some high res pictures of his work. You can also contact Scott at 319-276-4400. TM Technologies - a great source for your welding and metal working tools and supplies. Kent White is the proprietor and is the metal master. He is the guy that does the metal working workshops at the major airshows. Kent also produces some great videos that cover a range of topics. B&B Aircraft Supplies - This is a mom and pop shop with a whole warehouse full of new aircraft parts. Super nice people and great prices. Check here before you go elsewhere. No website, so you need to call or fax your order. Phone - 913-884-5930. Fax 913-84-6533. They carry the Bearhawk brake cylinders and ton of parts you will need for the Bearhawk. They also have a bunch of leather for upholstery. Wicks Aircraft - They sell all kinds of aircraft parts and also carry a hardware kit especially for the Bearhawk. Aircraft Spruce and Specialty - Another vendor that sells all kinds of aircraft parts. Their catalog is a wealth of information and completely free. Airparts Inc. - These nice folks carry the aluminum, tube and myriad of other parts you will need. Cleaveland Aircraft Tool - These guys are aircraft builders and top notch tool suppliers. Brown Aviation Tool Supply Company - Another top notch, high quality tool supplier. Avery Tools - Another one, take your pick, they are all good. The Yard Store - Supplier of high quality used aircraft tools. Scott Special Tools - Suppliers of shock strut spring set (EH200-800) for landing gear - call 816-421-2444 Build your own - A website with a bunch of cool homebrew tools. CreativAir - Some cool lighting products for your plane. Mac's Machine - A really nice site with some great homemade tools, including a bending brake. EAA's Sportair - They sponsor different hands-on workshops around the country to teach aircraft building processes. McMaster-Carr - If you need it, these guys probably have it.
